This is probably the coolest/craziest cat around. This shot was taken quite some time ago with a home made ring flash. I've been doing more assisting than shooting lately so I decided to post this, I'm not sure if anyone has seen it. Enjoy!

If any of you have seen Bryan lately, his beard was getting a little out of control. He decided he was going to shave it down to a light scruff, but before he did I mentioned that I should take a quick photo. This is what I came up with. The reason for the title is we've been on this rant about central banks and many many theories as to why, the world as we know it, will end.I'd like to think it looks pretty legit. I used my duvet cover as a background. One large shoot through umbrella real close to Bryan. A small speedlight pointing up at the duvet in the background. I used my 70-200mm L @f4, and probably the first time in years where I've used manual focus instead of auto... this was one of the sharp ones.

I haven't done any shooting in a while. I figured I'd post something anyway. So this is my background I've been on my MacBook since the first theater I was at on my NACO tour. I thought some of you might like it. It is 1440x900 if you click on it.

My Mom's New Kitchen

The title says it all. These cabinets were custom made to the layout she wanted. I wish I would have shot a before for the afters I have here. But you can all trust me that it's a million times better this way.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I kept trying to think of a great idea for a Christmas card for everyone. So just like most of my shopping, I shot this on the eve of Christmas. Just in time. I did stay up pretty late testing my graphic design skills (don't judge me). This is what I came up with. I know a lot of people who haven't been in a Holiday mood. Hopefully this will change that for a few of you! Please comment on the photo. I never know who sees my blog!

The Death of a Bryan

There's something really cool about dramatic lighting. I Never seem to do it very often with the stuff I usually shoot. I wanted play with my lights a bit at home and asked Bryan to sit in. He really doesn't mind since he gets a wicked facebook profile picture out of it. We got talking about a few series ideas and as morbid as it may seem, this is what we came up with.Keep your eye out for more like this, and once I feel the collection is done, I'll post them all together.

Sushi Time?

I haven't written a blog in a little while. Actually it has been since I got back from the NACO Tour. I took a little time to breath again as well as archiving and editing everything. I've been itching to shoot some food lately, but all I could come up with was an empty plate.Now don't get me wrong, I love my empty plate. but hopefully in a few days I'll be able to find the time to pick up some food to put in these plates.

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. Possible shoot ideas and such. I think the next month or 2 will be a great time to focus on personal projects. I'll try to post some more soon.
